The police had come to know that three to four terrorists were hiding in the Turkwangan area of ​​Shopian.

At the same time, the police, along with 44 Army and CRPF personnel of the army, started a search for the terrorists while laying siege to Turakwangan.

All routes were closed.

Several houses were searched. Some youths were also questioned on suspicion, but none were detained. Sources said that the relatives of the terrorists.
