Security Of The Country Will Be My First Priority: New IAF Chief

Security of the country will be my first priority- New Air Force Chief Air Chief Marshal VR Choudhary.

Air Chief Marshal VR Choudhary has become the new Chief of Air Staff of the country.

For the first time after becoming the Air Force Chief, he said many things about the country’s security and India.

Air Chief Marshal Vivekram Choudhary, the new chief of the Air Force, said ensuring the country’s security would be his first priority.

He said that my first priority would be to ensure the security of the country by using the Air Force properly.

He said, with proper training, proper use of available weapons, and manpower, we can be well prepared for any future war.

The Chief of the Air Staff also pointed out that the Air Force has a lot of potentials and has the potential to learn more and be able to prepare for future wars.

Air Chief Marshal Vivekram Chaudhary also said that big steps will be taken towards self-reliance, which will help in making us self-reliant in every way.

After assuming office, he said, the sovereignty and integrity of India will be protected at any cost. He succeeded Air Chief Marshal RKS Bhadauria after his retirement.

On the role of the IAF in controlling the situation along the borders and ways to meet the challenges of the future, he said that all our air warriors have great potential, we have the ability to learn more to be able to prepare for the future.

“Through the right training, we can use our equipment and personnel properly by making better use of all the existing and available equipment in the future,” he said. 

The new IAF chief said surface-to-air weapons and several other types of equipment are in the pipeline. We will ensure that ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ is kept in mind in all our procurement plans.

He said that I think everyone is well aware of the steps we are going to take. We have contracted for 83 LCAs and AMCA and LCA-Mk2 are in the pipeline.
