Seven terrorists were eliminated by security forces in three separate encounters that took place in different districts of the Valley since Sunday.

The first encounter took place in Kulgam on Sunday morning. In which the security forces killed two Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorists.

After this, security forces surrounded the terrorists and launched an operation in Kupwara. Here, four Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists were gunned down one after the other by the security forces.

At the same time, late on Sunday night, the security forces surrounded the terrorists hiding in Chatpora, Pulwama.

Today, in the early hours of Monday, the security forces have so far killed a terrorist. However, the search operation of the security forces is still going on there.

IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar has killed 7 terrorists in the Kashmir Valley within the last 24 hours. A Pakistani terrorist was among the four terrorists killed in the Kupwara encounter.

In Lolab, the security forces had arrested a terrorist Shaukat Ahmed Sheikh, who told about these terrorists hiding in Kupwara.
