Shane Warne’s Suggestion Rejected By Steve Smith

Shane Warne’s suggestion rejected by Steve Smith said – the red ball is the right thing in a Test match.

Former Australia cricket team captain Steve Smith has advocated playing Test cricket with the red ball. He does not want the pink ball used in the day-night test to be used in Test matches.

Shane Warne’s suggestion: A few days ago, former Australian veteran Shane Warne had spoken of playing Test cricket with the pink ball.

A Day Night Test match was played for the first time between India and Australia. Talking about the pink ball being used in this match, Warne said that the same ball should be regularized in a Test match.

Red balls are used in Test matches played during the day. Warne had said that if there is no movement of the ball after bowling 25 overs, then it should be replaced with a pink ball.

Smith responded by saying, “I don’t think that should be done.” I would personally like to see red ball cricket alive. I think a match or something like that during the series is enough.

We saw it in Adelaide, it was great, it was nice to see. We played the Day-Night match quite well there. Personally, I would like the red ball game to continue.

I have seen in previous years and I think the pink ball should be used in Test matches only. Even in day bouts, not just during the day-night Test.

I think the pink ball is easy to see, the audience can see it easily. It does a much better job than the red ball and looks great on TV as well. So why not use the pink ball in all Test matches.

South African veteran made batting consultant for England team for Sri Lanka tour

Former South African all-rounder Jacques Kallis will join the England team as batting consultant.

Kallis, who is ranked third in the list of batsmen who have scored the most runs in Tests, will accompany the England team for the tour of Sri Lanka in January.

England has to play two Test matches in Sri Lanka. Kallis was the coach of the Kolkata Knight Riders team in IPL.

He has also served on the coaching staff of the South Africa team but was not with the South African team on the team’s recent tour of England.
