Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut’s Judicial Custody Extended

Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut’s judicial custody is extended again, will remain in jail till October 3: Patra Chawl Land Scam Case.

The judicial custody of Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut has been extended for 14 days. Raut had applied for bail in the special PMLA court.

The court will hear it on September 21. Sanjay Raut was arrested on August 1 by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) after raiding their house of Sanjay Raut in the Patra Chal plot scam.

He was in ED custody till August 8. Since then his judicial custody has been increasing continuously.

A few days ago, he had applied for bail in the special PMLA court saying that his arrest was made out of political vendetta.

In response, the ED has told the court that Sanjay Raut has been playing an important role behind the scenes in this scam.

The Enforcement Directorate has also temporarily attached several properties of Sanjay Raut before his arrest.

It is to be known that Maharashtra Housing and Development Authority (MHADA) had entered into an agreement with 672 families living in Patra Chal in the Siddharthnagar area of ​​the Goregaon suburb.

According to this, the residents of this move were to be given flats in pucca buildings, and they would also be given rent to live in another flat until the flats were found.

The people of Chal vacated their houses and handed over the place to MHADA. But even after 14 years,  they have not been able to get flats.

MHADA has done the work of constructing the building at the place of this letter, which was assigned to Housing Development and Infrastructure Ltd. (HDIL) a subsidiary company.

Guru Ashish Construction Pvt. Ltd. The ED has found evidence of transactions of a large amount in the account of Sanjay Raut’s wife from the accounts of Praveen Raut, a director, and his wife.

ED has arrested Sanjay Raut for the investigation of the same case.
