Shopian Encounter: Security forces killed two LeT terrorists including the killer of bank manager Vijay, and weapons were also recovered.

An encounter is going on between security forces and terrorists in the Kanjilur area of ​​Shopian in Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday.

Two terrorists belonging to the banned terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) were killed in the encounter.

Police have claimed that two terrorists killed in this encounter include the terrorist who killed Vijay Kumar, a resident of Rajasthan, the manager of Ela-e-Dehati Bank.

He has been identified as Jaan Mohammad. On the other hand, the name of the second terrorist is being told as Tufail Ganai.

The police have taken the bodies of both the terrorists into their custody. A huge cache of arms and ammunition was also recovered from the encounter site.

At present, the search operation is going on in view of the presence of more terrorists in the area. Once it is confirmed that no more terrorists are present in the area, the operation will be called off.

Kashmir Zone Police tweeted, ‘Shopian encounter update: 02 terrorists belonging to banned terrorist organization Lashkar killed.

Further information will be followed. Kashmir Zone Police said that the encounter started in the Kanjilur area of ​​Shopian on Wednesday.

In this incident, the IGP of Kashmir said that one of the slain terrorists has been identified as Jan Mohammad Lone of Shopian.

He was recently involved in the murder of bank manager Vijay Kumar on June 2 in the Kulgam district, among other terror crimes.

Shopian Encounter: Security forces killed two LeT terrorists. Two terrorists were also killed during the encounter in Bemina.

Let us inform you that two terrorists, including Pakistani commander Abdullah Gojri and local Lashkar commander Musaib, were killed in an encounter by security forces late on Monday night in Bemina, on the outskirts of the district.

During this, a policeman was also seriously injured. Both the slain terrorists were part of a three-member LeT suicide squad that infiltrated Kashmir last month to attack the Shri Amarnath Yatra.

Hanjla, a Pakistani terrorist of this squad, was killed in an encounter on June 6 in Jalura, Sopore.
