The Kathua court has rejected the bail application of Shiv Anand, who was arrested on the charges of heroin smuggling. Police arrested the accused with 5.30 grams of heroin.

Considering the seriousness of the matter, the court said that drug addiction is licking the roots of the society like termites and no leniency can be shown to the people associated with this racket.

Anyway, the statements of many important witnesses are yet to be recorded in this case, and in such a situation the accused cannot be released on bail.

At the same time, the Samba court has rejected the bail application of Munendra Singh, accused of kidnapping a minor of Chichi Mata temple.

However, the investigation of the case is not over yet. Therefore, bail cannot be granted to the accused at this time.

According to the case, on July 8, 2021, Amar Singh, a resident of Teli Basti of Badi Brahmana, lodged a report at the Samba police station.

In the report, he said that he is currently living near the Chichi Mata temple by putting up a tent and since around 12.30 in the afternoon his Twenty-month-old grandson Amit is missing.
