Slogans And Posters Against Israel And In Support Of Palestine

Slogans and Posters against Israel and in support of Palestine appeared in different parts of Srinagar city.

JKP said those who spoil the situation in Kashmir in the name of Palestine, will not be strictly dealt with.

The supporters of separatists and terrorists have now started their conspiracy in the guise of supporting Palestine to spoil the situation in the valley.

The police have initiated action to thwart this and over a dozen people have reportedly been detained in the Kashmir Valley in the last 24 hours.

Meanwhile, IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar has said that in the name of the situation in Palestine, the elements sitting in the backdrop of spoiling the situation in Kashmir are constantly being monitored.

It is worth mentioning that on Thursday and Friday in the valley, people took out a procession against Israel and burnt its flag.

Slogans and posters were also written on the walls in many places in Srinagar against Israel and in support of Palestine.

Many such inflammatory things were written in these posters which could cause communal tension in the valley as well as a law and order crisis.

The police took immediate action and removed these posters and slogans.

Apart from this, the police have also detained about a dozen people involved in the agitation of violent demonstrations in Padarshahi Bagh and other areas of Srinagar.

Although Vijay Kumar of IGP Kashmir has not confirmed the detention of anyone, but he definitely said that we will not give anyone a chance to spoil the situation.

He said that the police are constantly monitoring all those elements who are looking for an opportunity to spoil the situation in Kashmir by taking advantage of the ongoing tension in Palestine-Israel.

This element wants the violent protests to begin in some way and for this they are inciting people to protest against Palestine by violating the Corona curfew.

He said that we understand the anger of the local people very well on the recent situation in Palestine, but we cannot allow anyone to disturb the law and order situation.

Maintaining law and order is our first responsibility. Everyone has freedom of expression, but inciting violence and hysteria is illegal.

On social media, people who are behaving irresponsibly, inciting people in the name of Palestine, breaching law and order, provoking violent protests by breaking the Covid-19 protocol, are under our watch.
