Special campaign to eradicate terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir. Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police (DGP) Dilbag Singh on Saturday asked the security forces to intensify the siege and search operations in the valley for the elimination of terrorists.

Singh said that the time has come to increase further pressure on extremists and their supporters. After the manner in which terrorist activities have intensified in Jammu and Kashmir for the last few days, the security forces have been asked to be vigilant.

Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police (DGP) Dilbag Singh on Saturday asked security forces to intensify the siege and search operations in the valley to eliminate terrorists. Singh also said that the time has come to increase further pressure on extremists and their supporters.

A police spokesman said that Singh made the above remarks while presiding over a high-level meeting with various officers of the Police Control Room, Administration, Army, Police, and Central Armed Police Forces in Kashmir.

The spokesman said that the meeting reviewed the current security scenario in the valley. Officials representing different agencies told the DGP about the steps that have been implemented to ensure peace and order and security of the people.

Dilbag Singh said, to achieve peace in Jammu and Kashmir, all forces have sacrificed their officers and soldiers and it is time to put more pressure on the terrorists and their supporters.

Terrorists are trying to disturb the peace of the valley

The DGP Dilbag Singh insisted on intensifying siege and search operations for the elimination of the terrorists, saying that the terrorists are seeking to disrupt peace and order at the behest of the terrorists sitting in Pakistan and the agents present in the valley. Singh said that the present Anti-terrorism campaign has yielded good results in the year.
