Srinagar Grenade Attack: NIA Charges ISIS/ISJK Terrorists in Sunday Market Blast

Srinagar Grenade Attack: The NIA has filed a chargesheet against ISIS/ISJK terrorists involved in the deadly November 3 Srinagar grenade attack that killed one woman and injured many. The attack targeted a busy Sunday market to spread panic and disrupt peace in Jammu and Kashmir.

The Sunday market was attacked to spread panic, and the NIA filed a chargesheet against the terrorists. The grenade attack in the city’s Sunday market last year was carried out to create panic. This attack was a conspiracy to disrupt peace and to further the violent agenda of terrorist organizations working with support from across the border.

One woman died in the attack

On Saturday, the NIA filed a chargesheet against three members of the outlawed terrorist organization ISIS/ISJK. On November 3, 2024, terrorists used a grenade to target a bustling Sunday market near the TRC in Srinagar. One woman was killed and others were injured in this tragedy.

All three defendants are under judicial custody.

On November 3, 2024, terrorists set off a grenade at a packed Sunday market near the TRC in Srinagar. This event claimed the life of one woman and injured many more.

All three defendants are in judicial custody. Osama and Umar were detained on November 7, just four days after the incident, while Afnan was arrested on November 8 for his active participation in the criminal conspiracy.

India disciplined Pakistan after it broke the truce for the ninth consecutive day.

Persistent small-arms fire from Pakistani forces in several locations along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir was successfully countered by the Indian Army.

According to officials, Pakistan violated the ceasefire in eight locations in five districts of the Union Territory on the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday, although no one was harmed.

This was the tenth night of unjustified gunfire from across the border in Jammu and Kashmir, escalating tensions following the terrorist attack in Pahalgam on April 22, which killed 26 people, predominantly tourists.

The Indian Army offered a suitable reaction.

The defense spokesperson claimed that on the evenings of May 3 and 4, Pakistan Army units in the neighboring districts of Kupwara, Baramulla, Poonch, Rajouri, Mendhar, Nowshera, Sunderbani, and Akhnoor engaged in unwarranted fire on small guns that had crossed the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir. The Indian Army reacted quickly.
