Startup Companies Will Become The Backbone Of India’s Growth

Startup companies will become the backbone of the country’s growth, big opportunities in the tire and rubber industry: Piyush Goyal.

Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal said that startup companies are going to be the backbone of the country’s economy.

He said that new businesses are being set up in a suitable environment ready for start-ups in the country.

Due to the encouragement and innovation from the government, young entrepreneurs are busy making new schemes successful.

He said this during his address at the 93rd annual general meeting of industry body FICCI.

Referring to the tire and rubber industry, Goyal said that there is immense potential for business growth in this sector.

The government is going to promote rubber farming in the direction of preparing raw materials. The help of private-sector businessmen will be taken in this work.

The Union Minister said that 24 other sectors like tire and rubber have also been identified, where there is immense potential for business success from the future perspective.

On the basis of these sectors, India’s manufacturing business is estimated to grow close to Rs 200 lakh crore in the next 10 years.

Addressing the session ‘Building Blocks of the New India’, Goyal said that the present government is working fast towards business ease.

For this, a single-window is being arranged to get approval from government departments.

Addressing businessmen and industrialists, the Union Minister said that the brand India has to be built on the basis of the level of production and its quality.

This will go a long way in achieving the goal of a self-reliant India.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday virtually inaugurated the 93rd Annual General Meeting (AGM) of FICCI (FICCI). Also, PM inaugurated FICCI Annual Expo 2020.

In this AGM, PM also shared his views and perspectives for the role of industry in the creation of ‘Inspired India’. It is based on the theme AGM Inspired India.

The AGM is attended by the country’s key policymakers and around 10,000 delegates from around the world.
