Stock Market Opens With Heavy Fall, Sensex Breaks 345 Points

Stock market opens with heavy fall, Sensex breaks 345 points, Nifty crosses 11,300. The stock market opened with a heavy fall on the fourth trading day of the week. At 9:16 am, the Bombay Stock Exchange’s major index Sensex fell 345.25 points to open at 38,269.54.

At the same time, the National Stock Exchange’s Nifty fell 93.70 points to open at 11,314.70. Out of 50 stocks of Nifty, 48 stocks opened in red mark and 2 shares opened in red mark. The stock market closed with a bounce on the previous trading day.

The Bombay Stock Exchange’s major index Sensex jumped 86.47 points to close at 38,614.79. At the same time, the National Stock Exchange’s Nifty closed at 11,408.40 with a gain of 23.05 points. Out of 50 stocks of the Nifty, 28 stocks closed in the green mark and 22 in the red mark.

Sensex shares opened today with Bharti Airtel, Maruti, ICICI Bank, SBI, HDFC Bank, Asian Paints, and Titan declining.

Among the heavyweights, shares of G Ltd, Tata Steel, GAIL, Tech Mahindra, Power Grid, Reliance, Bajaj Auto, Wipro, Cipla, and UPL opened on the green mark. JSW Steel, Grasim, Kotak Bank, HDFC Bank, Adani Ports, HDFC, Hindalco, Asian Paints, and IndusInd Bank opened on the red mark.

Be careful to use Internet banking, the bank tweeted, what to do, what not to do to avoid fraud. State Bank of India (SBI) has shared some tips to protect its customers from cyber thugs. Through a video tweet, the bank has outlined some measures that can prevent fraud.

The coronavirus epidemic has exposed many cybercriminals who use different methods to cheat. SBI tweeted with a video clip of less than a minute, ‘Don’t fall prey to mobile hackers and learn some smart ways to protect your device. Create problems for hackers. ‘

SBI has told what to do and what not to do to avoid a security attack.

1) Never keep your mobile phone out of reach.

2) Do not leave any unused applications and connections open.

3) Never connect your mobile phone to an unknown or untrusted network.

4) Never keep sensitive information like a password, username on your mobile.

5) Never forward virus-affected data to another mobile phone.

What to do

1) Take a regular backup of data.

2) Note the 15-digit IMEI number.

3) Always keep your mobile phone screen lock.

4) Before transferring any data from mobile phone to computer, scan the data with new antivirus software.

5) Update the mobile operating system regularly.

Earlier, SBI had issued a warning about charging their phones at charging stations. The bank advised customers to think carefully before plugging their phones into charging stations.
