Stocks Of Paytm Will Come Down, Analysts Raised Concerns

Stocks of Paytm will come down, know what the brokerage house estimated.

Paytm shares have fallen further. On BSE, it came to the level of Rs 1151 on Monday. In fact, foreign brokerage firm Macquarie has maintained an underperform rating for this stock.

The stock has lost 26.1% in the past month and is down 13.6% in the last five trading sessions. While Sensex has gained 2%.

Analysts have raised concerns about declining earnings and higher spending on senior staff.

Citing this, the brokerage house has reduced its price target to Rs 900 from Rs 1,200. On Tuesday, the shares of Paytm were trading at Rs 1166 till the time of writing the news.

The brokerage firm also said that the Reserve Bank of India’s proposal to cap wallet fees may create more trouble for Paytm as 70% of the company’s gross revenue comes from payments.

Stocks of Paytm will come down: Explain that since the Paytm listing in November 2021, there is concern among investors and entrepreneurs.

After this, Indian fintech company MobiKwik had delayed the IPO, saying that it would be listed later, a Financial Times report said.

Ashneer Grover, the co-founder of Fintech BharatPe, had said that Paytm has spoiled the Indian market.

According to Sandeep Murthy, partner, investment group Lightbox in Mumbai, there may be some cooling-off period in the listings of fintech companies in 2022.

Indian tech companies have raised a record $5 billion through listings in 2021, which is almost 10 times more than last year.

According to Prashant Gokhale, co-founder of Hong Kong-based research group Althea Capital, Paytm’s main business is not to make money.

In a tweet, Air India said that domestic passengers can change the sector date or flight number with the journey confirmed on or before March 31, 2022.
