Strict Action Against People Who Are Fueling Terrorism

Strict action against people who are fueling terrorism-separatism in Kashmir, police confiscated 46 properties.

The properties of the organizations, their members, who have been living in the Kashmir Valley, fueling terrorism and separatism, have been confiscated by the police.

So far, police have detected 46 such properties including 61 vehicles, five houses, six shops.

Apart from this, land, cash, and checks purchased from the money taken from them have also been recovered in return for the help of terrorist organizations.

The police officer said that investigations are still on. Similar seizures can be done further.

Continuing its campaign against the terrorists, separatists, and their supporters, the Jammu and Kashmir Police have seized 61 vehicles, five houses, six shops, and some plots of elements and organizations involved in 46 terrorist activities.

These include the house of Mahmuda Begum, mother-in-law of Dukhtaran-e-Millat, the mother-in-law of Asiya Andrabi, and the Creta car of Dukhtaran general secretary Fahmida Sophie.

A police spokesperson said that the Police Headquarters has issued orders for confiscation and possession of the movable and immovable property of organizations and elements involved in terrorism under the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act.

Under this, two tractor-trolls, one tipper, four Alto 800 cars, two Hyundai Creta, one Maruti Eco, one Baleno, four Centro cars, one Esta, two Wagon R, one Mahindra Quanto, one Tata Zip Auto, two Maruti Swift, 18 motorcycles.

Five scooters, two auto load carriers, three Alto K10, one Maruti 800, one 207 load carrier, two Taveras, one ambulance, one Tata Tiago, one Ford Figa, two Eco ambulances, besides an i-20 A Kanal Six Marla residential land is also included.

The spokesman said that the seized Creta car belonged to Fahmida Sophie, general secretary of the women’s separatist organization Dukhtaran-e-Millat.

She is also currently lodged in Tihar Jail along with Asiya Andrabi. Apart from this, five houses and cash worth Rs 3.70 lakh and checks worth Rs 50 thousand have also been seized.

These include the house of Mahmuda Begum, mother-in-law of Asiya Andrabi, president of Dukhtaran-e-Millat. Six shops of Nazir Ahmad Wani and one Kanal six Marla land of Pulwama have also been seized.

A police spokesperson said that during the year 2021 also, the police headquarters gave instructions to seize 11 vehicles including six two-wheelers besides six big vehicles. This approval is given under Section 25 of the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act 1967.
