Supreme Court Praised The Generosity Of Azim Premji

Supreme Court praised the generosity of Azim Premji.  Wipro Chairman forgave the person who filed more than 70 cases against him.

Interesting cases often come up in the Supreme Court. Another incident came to the fore in this episode.

A person had filed more than 70 cases against Wipro Honorary Chairman Azim Premji and his associates. Later the person realized that he should not have done this.

The man decided to withdraw the cases. Now the ball was in Azim Premji’s court. After this Azim Premji forgave her showing generosity. His approach was also praised by the Supreme Court.

A bench of Justices Sanjay Kishan Kaul and MM Sundaresh said, “We are happy to note that Azim Premji has taken a constructive approach in the matter and has agreed to condone the past conduct of R Subramanian.”

Supreme Court praised generosity of Azim Premji: The bench said that the present case shows that nothing is impossible when both parties are ready to understand the reality.

The Supreme Court said that more than 70 cases will be dropped as R Subramaniam wants to repent for his past conduct and start a new chapter in his life.

Senior advocate Mukul Rohatgi persuaded Azim Premji to take a more compassionate view of R Subramaniam’s conduct and close all the issues.

R Subramaniam has assured to withdraw the various proceedings pending before the courts against Premji and his group.

Subramaniam has filed an affidavit with the details of the PILs filed by him pending before the courts as per his assurance given on the last date of hearing.

Premji had appeared in the Supreme Court last year challenging the order of the Karnataka High Court.

The Karnataka High Court had dismissed his plea to quash the summons issued against him by the trial court.
