Last September, the Tamil Nadu government announced an e-Clinic program aimed at providing easy treatment for physical ailments, including the common cold and headaches.

In this context, Chief Minister Palanisamy is launching this project in Chennai today.

Of the mini-clinics to be set up in 2000 locations across Tamil Nadu, only 200 will be located in Chennai.

In the first phase, the mini-clinic will operate in 20 locations in Chennai, including Rayapuram, Mylapore, and Vyasarpadi, and will gradually expand to other locations.

Each clinic will have one doctor, one nurse, and one assistant to make medical care easily accessible to all areas. It is noteworthy that the government has hired more than a thousand new doctors for this service.

AIADMK executives today discussed preparations for the by-elections.

AIADMK Coordinators O. Panneerselvam and Edappadi Palanisamy chaired a meeting of zonal officers, ministers and district secretaries on the preparations for the general elections in Chennai today.

As the Assembly elections in Tamil Nadu approach, political parties have begun preparations to face the elections. AIADMK ministers, office bearers, and district secretaries are holding a consultative meeting today.

Party Coordinator O. Panneerselvam and Co-Coordinator Edappadi Palanisamy will officiate at the party headquarters in Chennai at 4.30 pm today.

During the consultation meeting held on November 20, various suggestions were given to the district secretaries regarding the election work.

The participation of women in this election should be greater. Therefore, the district secretaries were instructed to appoint female agents in the polling booths for women and to set up booth committees to give more importance to women.

Based on that, they have been asked to attend today’s meeting with details of the work they have done. According to party sources, important decisions will be taken at the meeting regarding the early launch of the campaign.
