Tata Motors Shines, Became Second Best-selling Brand In India

Tata Motors shines, surpasses Hyundai to become the country’s second bestseller car company.

Leading carmaker Tata Motors has registered sales of 35,299-unit passenger vehicles in the domestic market in December 2021.

At the same time, Hyundai registered sales of only 32,312 units of passenger vehicles in the domestic market in December 2021.

With this, Tata Motors has overtaken Hyundai in terms of domestic sales in December 2021.

Tata Motors has emerged as the second best-selling brand by registering passenger vehicle sales of 35,299 units last month.

Of these, 2,255 units are contributed by PV. Hyundai India, on the other hand, recorded sales of 32,312-unit in December 2021, after which it has slipped to the third position in the country.

Let us tell you that compared to December 2020, Tata Motors has increased by 50 percent. Interestingly, EV sales have also seen a four-fold increase with 2,255 units sold in December 2021.

Tata Motors shines: Hyundai’s domestic sales declined 31.8 percent last month with 32,312-unit sales as against 47,400-unit sales in the same period in 2020.

Now it will be interesting to see whether Tata Motors can maintain its second best selling position in the country this month or not?

However, the company has a strong product lineup in both ICE and electric options, which have also received the best ratings for good protection.

Hyundai on the other hand is also a popular selling model in every segment. However, the shortfall in the supply of semiconductors may affect the delivery timelines.

After falling behind Tata Motors in sales, Hyundai has claimed that it will push itself in the SUV segment by 2022. The company has claimed that the demand for its SUV is the highest compared to other SUVs.

Share Market: On the first trading day of 2022, the stock market rose, Sensex 758, and Nifty rose 219 points.

On the first trading day of the year 2022, the stock market is open with a boom.

The Sensex was recorded up 289 points when the market opened in the morning, while the Nifty saw a jump of 89 points.

After rising 289 points, the Sensex was up 58,543 and the Nifty was at 17,443 with a gain of 89 points. Sensex and Nifty also rose as the day progressed.

Around one o’clock in the afternoon, the Sensex was trading at 59012.54 with a gain of 758.72 points (1.3 percent), while the Nifty was up 219 points (1.26 percent) and was recorded at 17573.0
