Telangana Government Is Providing Mid-day Meal Facility

Telangana government is providing a mid-day meal facility to the students, with egg and veg biryani included in the menu.

The Mid-Day Meal Scheme is a school meal program in Telangana designed to improve the nutritional status of school-aged children. In which many schools are included.

After this program, children are excited about eating. The teachers have also thanked the KCR government for this initiative.

The program supplies free lunches on working days to children of primary and upper primary classes in government schools. The mid-day meal menu consists of dal, rice, egg, and veg biryani.

Mohammad Ahmed, a class 6 student of Boys Government School in Hyderabad, said that he gets a mid-day meal every day, dal, rice, and egg in the food.

Ahmed said, ‘The food is very tasty. We get time to play and the teachers are also very nice.

Mohammad Rizwan Ali, an assistant physics teacher at Government Boys’ High School in Golconda, said, ‘The mid-day meal is a thoughtful concept.

Every day they get food for the students and on Saturdays, they provide veg biryani to the students. The government scheme mid-day meal is a good initiative.

“We get pulses, rice, and eggs every day, I urge KCR to continue this facility,” said a class 9 student of a government boys’ school.

Suresh, a school teacher said, ‘Every day around 200 children eat food, daily we get dal and rice and every other day we get eggs, veg biryani on Saturdays.

There are financially weak people in school who cannot have breakfast and eat lunch straight away.

Therefore, I thank the government for providing the mid-day meal and urge the government to continue with the food. “Over 250 children eat mid-day meals here every day,” he said.

Mid-day meal is provided by the government to all the children in the government school so that the children come daily to the school and they get adequate nutrition.

In view of this, the government has started the Mid-Day Meal Scheme. Under this scheme, the government wants to make the children healthy and nourished along with education.
