Terror Funding Case: NIA raids in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, case related to ISIS.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) team on Thursday conducted raids in several areas of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.

The investigating agency has conducted these raids in connection with its investigation related to the terrorist activity case.

According to the agency, NIA officials conducted searches in Karaikal, Mayiladuthurai, and the capital Chennai.

This case is related to propaganda and fundraising for the terrorist organization ISIS. The main accused in the case is already in jail.

Agency officials said that this action has been taken to investigate the case related to terrorist activity.

Terror Funding Case: NIA has announced a reward of 25 lakhs on Naxal Commander Hidma, Jhiram Valley is the mastermind of many cases including the Naxalite attack

NIA has announced a reward of Rs 25 lakh on Naxal Commander Madvi Hidma. He is the main accused in many cases including the Jhiram Ghati Naxalite attack on Bastar.

Hidma is the commander of the People’s Liberation Guerrilla Army (PLGA). It is active in Sukma, Bijapur and Dantewada.

At the same time, a reward of Rs 50 lakh has been announced for the dreaded Naxalite Nambala Keshav Rao alias Basanraj of Andhra Pradesh.

Significantly, 32 people including the then state Congress president Nandkumar Patel, former Union minister Vidyacharan Shukla, and senior Congress leader Mahendra Karma were killed in the Jhiram Valley Naxal attack.

The police had also announced a reward of Rs 25 lakh on Hidma. The NIA has described Hidma as a resident of Purvi village under the Jagargunda police station area of Sukma district.

Hidma is also known by many names like Santosh alias Indmul alias Podiam Bhima. He is the most wanted Naxalite for the police of many Naxal affected states including Chhattisgarh Police.

Hidma was involved in these big incidents.

According to the top officials of the Anti-Naxal operation, Hidma is considered to have played an important role in the sacrifice of 76 CRPF personnel in the Naxalite attack in Tadmetla in 2010.

Hidma was also the mastermind of the Burkapal attack in 2017. In this attack, 25 soldiers were martyred.
