In the investigation of intelligence agencies, it has come to the fore that the accused terrorist organizations were in contact through this app.

The associates of these terrorists also used to talk to them through the Telegram app. The terrorists had planned to prepare sleeper cells in their respective areas and to a large extent, they were successful.

Three recently arrested terrorists are being questioned by the ATS team on police custody remand.

Salahuddin alias Salahuddin, who was arrested in terrorist activities, is a resident of Mubarakpur in Azamgarh.

He was propagating the jihadi ideology of the terrorist organization ISIS. For this, he used to talk to jihadis in the Arabic language through the Telegram app on WhatsApp.

We used to talk by forming a group on Telegram: On August 12, Saharanpur resident Mohd. Nadeem and Saifullah, a resident of Fatehpur, were arrested on August 14.

Both were in touch with the terrorist handlers of the Pakistani terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed and were in the process of doing a big incident.

For this, both were going to Pakistan. Saifullah was also associated with the Raah-e-Hidayat group set up on the Telegram app by Pakistani terrorist handlers.

Pakistani and Afghan jihadi Mujahid was associated with this group. Both the terrorists also came in contact with each other after joining the Telegram app named Gurba.

What is Telegram App: Telegram is a messaging application similar to WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger. However, it can be used through normal data through WiFi without any charge.

It is based on the cloud, which is a voice-over-internet protocol service. The data of the people using it is stored in Telegram’s servers instead of being stored in the user’s device.
