Terrorist hideout destroyed in Amhaur, Reasi district, ammunition recovered: Terrorism in Jammu.

A Terrorist hideout was destroyed during a joint search operation by police and security forces on Friday in the Ambience Tehsil of Reasi district. During this time arms and ammunition were recovered.

The police have started investigating the case registered in this regard. This action was carried out in the spotlight of a captured youth. It is possible that the security forces may have some more success.

It is known that on the basis of secret information, the police detained Mohammad Yusuf, a youth resident of Deval, falling in the Ambience Tehsil of Reasi district.

He was severely questioned. During this, he told that he had hidden arms and ammunition at a hideout.

On Yusuf’s behest, the police conducted a search operation along with security forces to raid the terrorist hideout in Lohar Angrala village in Mahore.

During this time the terrorist hideout was demolished and five grenades, a nine mm pistol, and other ammunition were recovered from there.

The search operation was conducted by Inspector Ratan Singh, led by SDPO Atmosphere Dr. Khalid Ashraf. Police have started investigating the matter by registering a case.

The connection of the arrested young man Mohammad Yusuf to any terrorist organization or OGW is being investigated.

There may be some other revelations in his interrogation. Or, some more success may come in the hands of security agencies.
