Terrorists Have Not Been Successful In Infiltrating In Kieran Sector

Terrorists have not been successful in infiltrating in Kieran sector of the Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Brigade Commander Mishra claims – Due to the vigilance of the army, not a single terrorist infiltrated this year in Kieran.

Terrorists have not been successful in infiltrating even once this year in the Keran sector of Kupwara district, adjacent to the Line of Control (LoC) in North Kashmir.

This claim has been made by Brigadier Tapas Mishra, Commander of the Army’s 268 Infantry Brigade in a conversation. He said that the anti-infiltration mechanism of the army is completely strong.

Our jawans constantly keep an eye on the enemy’s every move. State-of-the-art equipment is also being used to prevent and detect infiltration.

Talking to reporters at the Brigade Headquarters located at Farkian Gali, Brigadier Mishra said that we have the responsibility of protecting the 55 km area of the LoC under our jurisdiction.

The terrorists made two infiltration attempts in this area. Both the times the intruders were killed. The infiltrators in this area of ours have failed in their designs.

He said that the geographical conditions of the Kieran sector are extremely difficult. Somewhere there is a drain, somewhere there is a mountain and a dense forest.

It is also very cold in this region.

Snow falls, and mist spreads over the forward areas. In such a situation, it is very challenging to stop the infiltration, to thwart every plan of the enemy.

Our jawans and officers are facing this challenge with full success. We are also taking the help of state-of-the-art equipment to deal with infiltration.

On the change in the attitude of the Pakistani army after the change of government in Pakistan, Brigadier Mishra said that it is too early to claim anything about it.

What attitude will the Pakistani army adopt now, it will be known in the coming days.

The launching pad of terrorists across the LoC: Brigadier Mishra said that the situation here is completely calm since the resumption of the ceasefire.

Pakistan did not violate the ceasefire, but we have not given up on caution. Every move of the Pakistan Army is being monitored.

On the question of reduction in infiltration by the resumption of ceasefire, he said that it is very difficult to connect the two.

Both are different subjects. There are still training camps and launching pads of terrorists across the LoC. No case of drone infiltration has come to light in this area so far.
