Terrorists Involved In Wine Shop Grenade Attack Arrested

Terrorists involved in Baramulla wine shop grenade attack caught within 48 hours, 4 TRF terrorists arrested with one aide: Baramulla Wine Shop Grenade Attack.

An associate including four Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists who carried out a grenade attack on a liquor shop in Baramulla has been arrested.

IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar himself confirmed this and said that a large quantity of ammunition including IEDs has also been recovered from the arrested terrorists.

He told that this terrorist module has been involved in many attacks in the past as well. The arrested terrorists are being interrogated.

The arrested terrorists of Lashkar-e-Taiba have been identified as Shahid Shaukat Bala son of Shaukat Ahmed Bala resident of Banglobag.

Safir Ahmed Mir son Ghulam Nabi Mir resident of Mir Sahib Baramulla, Mohammad Maruf alias Adil son Nazir Ahmed Sohal resident of Kanlibagh.

Faisal Shahban Gojri son Mohammad Shaaban resident of Chishti Colony Baramulla. While the name of the overground worker is being told as Atif.

Terrorists involved in wine shop grenade attack arrested:  SSP Baramulla Rais Mohammad Bhat said that the arrested terrorists used to work for TRF.

Five pistols, 23 grenades, one IED, seven magazines, 205 rounds of ammunition, and four cleaning rods were recovered from their possession.

Apart from this, the police have also recovered the motorcycle which was used by these terrorists during the attack.

Let us tell you that on Tuesday evening, these terrorists attacked a new liquor shop in Baramulla with a grenade. Four salesmen working in the shop were seriously injured in this attack.

Later, one of Rajouri’s injured Ranjit Singh succumbed to his injuries during treatment while the other three are still undergoing treatment in the hospital.

All these three personnel are also residents of the Jammu division.

After the grenade attack, the police started searching for the attackers.

Within two days of the attack, the police arrested one of his associates including four Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists. Police sources say that the arrested terrorists were also planning to carry out similar attacks.
