Terrorists shot police constable outside the house in Pulwama and he died in the hospital.

A police constable was shot by terrorists in the Gudaru area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Friday morning.

He succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment at Srinagar Military Hospital.

This is the second soft target killing by terrorists in the Kashmir Valley in the last 12 hours. Constable Riyaz Ahmed was standing outside his house when the attack took place.

The terrorists suddenly came and started firing on Riyaz who was standing near the house. The terrorists fled from there as soon as the police constable fell to the ground.

With the help of local people, Riyaz was immediately rushed to the district hospital. The doctors provided him with first aid.

Seeing his critical condition, he was immediately rushed to the Military Hospital in Srinagar but police constable Riyaz could not bear the wounds and became a sacrifice.

At the same time, soon after the attack, SOG personnel along with a joint team of Army and CRPF reached the Gudaru area and started to trace the attackers.

After all, people living nearby are also being questioned to identify the attackers.

Let us tell you that on Tuesday, terrorists shot dead a Kashmiri Hindu youth, Rahul Bhatt, working in the Tehsildar office in district Budgam.

This is the second incident of target killing in Kashmir within the last 12 hours.

Let us tell you that the killing of Kashmiri Hindu clerk Rahul Bhatt by terrorists in the Chadoora Tehsildar office premises has raised questions about the security arrangements.

Tight security arrangements are made in the Tehsildar’s office. A contingent of police and CRPF personnel takes care of the security.

Apart from this, there is a camp of security forces at some distance from the Tehsildar’s office. The police station is also close by.

A neighbor of late Rahul Bhatt in Sheikhpora Budgam said that terrorists enter the Tehsildar’s office carrying weapons, open fire and leave from there.

After all, what were the policemen stationed there doing? This is the failure of the security forces. This whole matter should be investigated.

However, after these attacks, the Jammu and Kashmir Police and Army have increased vigil in the valley.
