Terrorists trying to spoil the situation in Kashmir again: DGP Dilbag Singh alerted.

Director-General of Police Dilbag Singh has directed all the security officers to regularly review the security apparatus in their respective jurisdictions.

He said that the terrorist handlers sitting in Pakistan are constantly conspiring to spoil the situation in Jammu and Kashmir.

To thwart these conspiracies, the remaining network of terrorists and their overground workers should be destroyed while being alert.

The DGP has taken a meeting with senior officers of Police, CRPF, BSF, SSB.

Dilbagh said that the situation in Kashmir is now almost back to normal due to the wide coordination among all the security agencies.

Most of the terrorist commanders have been killed. The overground worker network has also been almost destroyed. Anti-national protests have stopped.

He has also reviewed the strategy prepared to maintain security in Kashmir in winter.

Also, directed jawans to continuously monitor the supporters of terrorists, their overground workers, and elements associated with narco-terrorism.

Instructions to change the police officers posted at the same place:

Director-General of Police Dilbagh Singh emphasizes the continued development of the professional competence of the officers and jawans.

He also said that the instructions to transfer the officers and jawans were posted in the same place or area for a long time.

In the meeting of the Police Establishment Board, Dilbagh Singh said that all the wings of the police organization should rationalize the deployment of their jawans and officers.

If any officer or jawan has been posted at a particular place for a long time, then he should be immediately transferred and another qualified person should be appointed in his place.

Only the needy should have this exemption.

This will only improve the capability of the respective wings. He directed to end the tendency of unauthorized attachment and local management in the police organization.

The Director-General was informed that by the end of the year 2020 and July this year, four Assistant Sub Inspectors, 40 Head Constables, 160 Selection Grade Constables, and 475 Constables and four Followers have been promoted to One Rank prematurely on the basis of their performance.

Apart from this, 393 SPOs have been regularized as constables on the basis of their performance.
