The Case May Be Filed Against Former DG Of Jharkhand

The case may be filed against the former DG, there is a case of document tampering.

The Anti-Corruption Bureau has sought the opinion of the state government on the issue of registering an FIR against former DG of Jharkhand Police, Kumud Choudhary.

The FIR will be registered in connection with the construction of a six-story house on the housing board’s 13 decimal lands in Harmu.

In a letter sent on December 27 last, the ACB has asked to suggest how to register an FIR against former DG Kumud Choudhary.

The whole matter is related to the purchase of the housing board’s land from the raiyat.

On the issue of registering the FIR, the ACB again sought the opinion of the government

Significantly, in the year 2013, a PIL was filed in the Jharkhand High Court.

It was alleged that former DG Kumud Choudhary and her husband former chief secretary SK Chaudhary have wrongly registered the land of Harmu Housing Board by misusing their position.

On the directions of the High Court, the Anti-Corruption Bureau of Jharkhand Police had conducted a preliminary inquiry into the whole matter and found the allegations to be true.

The ACB had sent a preliminary inquiry report to the state government seeking permission to register an FIR.

Within 5 years, the ACB had written twice to the state government seeking permission to register an FIR but the permission was not granted. Now once again ACB has written a letter.

Memorandum was submitted to the minister regarding reservation, the minister assured the villagers.

A delegation of Vaishya Morcha submitted an application meeting the drinking water and sanitation minister Mithilesh Kumar Thakur of the state.
