This station looks like the airport, is spread over 4200 sqm. 314 crores have been spent in preparing it.

Union Minister Goyal said in a tweet- ‘This country’s first AC railway terminal built in the name of Bharat Ratna Sir M. Visvesvaraya will start working soon.’  At this railway terminal, you will get an AC facility like an airport and metro station.

The news agency quoted railway officials as saying that there was a plan to construct the new coach terminal at Bayapanahalli in the metropolis so that more express trains could run to Bengaluru.

Naming after Sir M. Visvesvaraya.

Chief Public Relations Officer of South Western Railway said that this is the third coach terminal approved in Baiyapanhalli 2015-16, named after Bharat Ratna Sir M Visvesvaraya.

The railway terminal was to be opened by the end of February but it was delayed due to some problems.

More long-distance trains will run.

With its introduction, more long-distance trains will be run from Bangalore to other metros like Mumbai and Chennai.

Not only this, but Bengaluru will also be connected to all districts of Karnataka with this terminal. Not only this, but it will also help reduce congestion at KSR Bengaluru and Yeshwantpur stations.

The building of this railway station is spread over an area of ​​4,200 square meters.

The terminal has seven platforms that enable the terminal to operate 50 trains per day. It has been given a great look along the lines of Bengaluru International Airport.
