Defense Minister Rajnath Singh today made a statement on global security concerns, border disputes, and the importance of maritime affairs.

He said that not only new but indigenous technologies are also the need of the hour.

We are working towards advanced and indigenous technologies as the country with these technology makes its dominance in the world. This will also help in our overall development.

The Defense Minister made this statement while addressing a program of felicitation of ‘Dare to Dream’ award winners and young scientists of DRDO in Delhi today.

Rajnath Singh said that the country is focusing on modernizing its military. This is the reason why the demand for military equipment is increasing.

The focus is on military modernization: Along with this, Rajnath Singh said that today changes are being seen in trade, economy, communication, that is, in every sector.

If any corner of the world should be left untouched by them, I think that is not possible. These changes happening around the world are increasing the security of the nations equally.

Along with this, Rajnath Singh said that what is attracting me the most in this program today is the ‘Dare to Dream’ challenge. These three words clearly represent our vision and mission.

He said that it is these dreams, which came true and gave new directions to the world. It is dreams that have made the seemingly impossible things in their grasp.

The biggest discoveries and inventions in the world, you will see that all of them are the result of some dream or the other.

The Minister further said that our former Prime Minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ji had dreamed of such an India, where not only remote areas but the hearts of the people are strongly connected.

Along with this, the Defense Minister said that today our country, with about 60 percent youth population, is the youngest country in the world.

Our youth is well prepared to fulfill not only the needs of today but also the hopes and dreams of tomorrow.
