Threatening posters of terrorists in the city went viral, police investigation started: Jammu Kashmir.

Before the Amarnath Yatra, the police has started an investigation in the matter of posting threatening posters in the name of terrorist organization Tehreek-ul-Mujahideen in the railway station, bus stand, etc. areas of the city.

Last Friday, there was news of posters of this terrorist organization being pasted in these areas, but SSP Jammu Chandan Kohli denied the information about any such posters being found.

On Saturday also, pictures of posters being pasted at railway stations and some other places on social media went viral, but after investigation, it was found that these pictures were made through Photoshop.

Meanwhile, the police tightened security arrangements in other sensitive areas of the city apart from the railway station. People coming to the railway station were screened.

Apart from this, the police also launched a search operation by putting up a blockade at the Ban toll plaza on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway.

At the same time, according to SSP Jammu Chandan Kohli, the matter is being investigated. It is being ascertained who are the people behind all this and what are their intentions.

Drug consignment recovered from passenger vehicle at Vikram Chowk, driver arrested.

Police recovered the drug Bhukki from a passenger vehicle in the Vikram Chowk area of ​​the city. The police arrested the driver of the passenger vehicle, Mohammad Rafi of Reasi district.

22.5 kg of Bhukki was recovered from his vehicle. The accused is being questioned that from where he got this consignment of drugs and where was he taking it.

Only his driver was in the vehicle at the time of the incident. A case was registered against the accused driver at Gandhi Nagar police station.

A passenger vehicle JK02AS-7202, which reached Vikram Chowk via Belicharana Marg on Sunday morning, was stopped by the policemen for investigation.

The driver told the police personnel that he was going to take the passengers towards Kashmir at the Jammu bus stand. His vehicle is empty.

Suspicious of the words of the driver, the police personnel started searching the vehicle. During this, a sack was recovered by the police personnel from under a seat. When the sack was opened, there was a hunger inside it.
