Three Terrorists Including LeT Commander Abu Huraira Killed

Three terrorists including LeT commander Abu Huraira killed in the Pulwama encounter.

Security forces have got a big success in the encounter that started from midnight on Tuesday in South Kashmir’s Pulwama.

In this operation jointly carried out by the security forces and the police, a group of militants including Lashkar-e-Taiba’s top commander Ejaz alias Abu Huraira has been killed.

Pulwama Encounter: Kashmir’s IG Vijay Kumar said that one of the terrorists killed has been identified as Ejaz alias Abu Huraira of Pakistan.

Abu Huraira has been eliminated along with two other local terrorists. IG Vijay Kumar congratulated the security forces and the police.

Earlier on Tuesday, after midnight in Pulwama of South Kashmir, the sound of bullets resonated when the terrorists hiding in a place opened fire on the security forces to break the siege.

The security forces also retaliated by protecting themselves.

With this, the encounter started. It continued on Wednesday morning and after some time all the three terrorists were eliminated.

A group of terrorists had come to meet some of their contacts in Pulwama town late on Tuesday night.

On knowing this, the police, along with the army and CRPF personnel, started the siege of the hideout of the terrorists.

After midnight, at around one o’clock, the terrorists opened fire on seeing the soldiers moving towards their hideout.

The terrorists tried to escape by breaking the siege, but the soldiers took quick action and entangled them in the encounter.

IED attack failed near railway track in Qazigund.

Terrorists have hatched a conspiracy to blow up the railway track in South Kashmir.

On Tuesday, the security forces thwarted a major terrorist incident by recovering an IED in time in Damjan, Qazigund. It was hidden under a poplar tree near the railway track.

On Tuesday evening, a joint working group of police and central paramilitary personnel was on regular patrolling near the railway track in Damjan, Qazigund.

The jawans saw the IED installed at a place near the track. He informed the bomb disposal squad at the same time.

The Bomb Disposal Squad reached the spot and took possession of the IED and made it safely rejected.
