Tightening Screws On Those Supporting Terrorists In Kashmir

Tightening screws on those supporting terrorists in Kashmir, property being attached.

They are more dangerous than terrorists in Kashmir, who are working for terrorist organizations by living among common people.

You can also call them overground workers or white-collar terrorists. Along with the terrorists, the Kashmir Police has tightened its attitude to crack down on these black sheep hidden in society.

The administration has decided to attach their property along with legal action against these people who are helping terrorists.

Action has also been started on this. In the last few months, the police have started the process of attaching the properties of the overground workers or other people involved in terror cases arrested in the Kashmir Valley.

Tightening screws on those supporting terrorists: It has been decided to attach their property under the Prevention of Unlawful Activities Act.

SSP Srinagar Rakesh Balwal said that all those buildings are being attached which have been used by the terrorists, be it someone’s house, shop, or garden.

This is being done under the law relating to terrorist activities. Therefore, no one should give shelter to terrorists or allow them to use their house, garden, shop, or any other structure.

This is not the first time that the police in Kashmir have decided to attach the house of one of his aides who provided hideout to a terrorist.

On January 25 last year, the house of an overground worker of Jaish-e-Mohammed, living in Khiryu, was attached by the police in Awantipore of Pulwama district.

In the year 2020, a policeman and a military soldier were killed in an encounter with terrorists hiding in his house.

Earlier on June 30, 2012, the Jammu and Kashmir Police had vacated and sealed the house of Ghulam Mohammad Khan, belonging to the Harkatul Jihadi Islamic terrorist organization, in Channapora.

On the same day, the police had attached 15 Kanal land of Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist Abdul Majeed Lone and his father Abdul Razzaq Lone in Baguv Sopore, North Kashmir.
