Tokyo Olympics: Wrestler Seema gets an Olympic ticket, the fourth wrestler to do so.

Indian women’s wrestler Seema Bisla secured a ticket to the Tokyo Olympics by reaching the final of the World Olympic Qualifier.

Won the semi-finals of the 50 kg weight category in a close match against the bronze medalist of the European Championship. Seema won 2–1 against Ana Lukasiak.

India’s Nisha and Pooja were knocked out of the Olympic qualifiers. Seema has lost only two points in the 50kg journey to the semi-finals. Finished a place in the finals, winning a thrilling win against Poland’s Anna Lukasiak.

Seema, who recently won a bronze medal at the Asian Championships in Almaty, beat Anastasia Yanotova of Belarus 8–0. She beat Sweden’s Emma Jonna Dennis with 43 seconds left.

Nisha (68 kg) was defeated in the quarterfinals by Mimi Ristova of Bulgaria on the basis of technical skills. Nisha had defeated Poland’s Natalia Iwona in the first round.

At the same time, Pooja lost to Lithuania’s Kamileji 3-4 in the 76kg. India’s Vinesh (53 kg), Anshu Malik (57 kg), and Sonam Malik (62 kg) have qualified for the Olympics.

Sumit Malik qualified for the 125 kg final in the men’s freestyle category. He will play Sergey Kojirev of Russia.

Sathiyan requested to provide a tennis table.

India’s star table tennis player G Sathiyan does not want to leave any core effort for his first Olympics and has requested the government to provide tablets to be used in the Tokyo Games.
