TRF Top Terrorist Zahoor Arrested From District Samba
TRF top terrorist Zahoor arrested from district Samba, involved in the killings of 3 BJP leaders: Militancy in Jammu.
The J&K Police, which is fighting the war against terrorism, has been a big success. Last year, the top terrorist of The Registration Front (TRF), involved in the murder of three BJP leaders and police personnel in Kulgam, was arrested from district Samba.
A special team of Anantnag Police came to Samba to arrest the terrorist. On the midnight of 12-13 February, this special team of police raided the place where the terrorist was hiding in Samba district and arrested it.
The terrorist has been taken to Kashmir.
IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar himself confirmed this and said that the arrested terrorist has been identified as Zahoor Ahmad Rather alias Sahil alias Khalid. The IGP said that since the murder, the police was searching for it with great enthusiasm.
Recently, Anantnag police got information from reliable sources that Zahoor district is hidden in Samba. As soon as the information was received, a special team of Anantnag Police left for Jammu for his crackdown.
On the midnight of Friday and Saturday, the police suddenly raided the whereabouts and caught Zahoor alive.
Let us tell you that Zahoor killed three BJP workers Fida Hussain Yattu, Umer Rashid Baig, and Umar Ramadan Hajam of Kulgam on October 29 last year.
When these three BJP leaders were going in a car, the terrorists who came from around 8.20 pm started firing indiscriminately at them.
The three seriously injured were taken to a nearby hospital where doctors declared them dead. Locals told police that the attackers fled in an Alto car.
On investigation, the name of TRF terrorist Zahoor came to light. In addition, Zahoor also killed a policeman in Fura the same year.
Zahoor was missing since these murders. IGP Vijay Kumar said that The Registration Front is another organization of Lashkar-e-Taiba.
Zahoor is taken to Kashmir. Once there, he will be questioned. Zahoor’s capture in district Samba also reveals the network of terrorist infiltration.
Often, terrorists infiltrate from the Samba sector. Police sources say that the interrogation of Zahoor will also find terror partners in villages adjacent to the Samba international border.
