Two Lashkar-e-Taiba associates arrested in Budgam, ammunition also recovered: OGWs Arrested.

The police have started tightening their grip on overground workers who are assisting organizations in promoting terrorist attacks in Kashmir.

In order to maintain peace in the Kashmir Valley, the police have intensified the search and arrest of these overground workers to end the network of terrorist organizations.

The Budgam police have arrested two Lashkar-e-Taiba associates during the Mohanpora special block under the same operation.

On search, ammunition along with incriminating material was also recovered from them.

Budgam Police started checking the vehicles with 53 RR of the army by setting up a special Naka in the Mohanpora area near the railway bridge.

Then the security forces suspected two people passing through the Naka and when they were searched, apart from ammunition, many documents related to the LET terrorist organization were also recovered from them.

The police immediately took both of them into custody and took them to the police station for questioning.

Both were identified as Mohammad Ashraf Shaksaj resident of Kralnar and Mursaline Maqbool Bhat resident of Shamsabad Budgam.

Both also admitted that they work for Lashkar-e-Taiba. Not only this, he is in direct contact with the masters of the organization sitting in Pakistan.

He was entrusted with the task of delivering these arms and ammunition to the local terrorists.

During interrogation, both the overground workers also admitted that they used to arrange weapons, vehicles, and accommodation for the Lashkar terrorists.

Not only this, through various social media platforms, apart from the local commanders of Kashmir, he was in touch with the masters of terrorist organizations sitting in Pakistan.

Police said that during the search, Lashkar posters, ammunition, 30 rounds of AK-47, 07 rounds of Chinese pistol have been recovered from their possession.

Police have registered a case against both. It is being claimed that raids can be conducted at many places on the basis of interrogation.
