Two terrorists were killed in a fierce encounter in Bandipora, North Kashmir, operation continues: Encounter at Bandipora.

A fierce encounter broke out between terrorists and security forces in the Berar area of ​​north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Friday afternoon.

Two terrorists have been killed in this encounter. The slain foreign terrorists have been identified as Faisal and Abu Ukasa. The operation against the terrorists is still going on.

According to the police officer both of them are the same terrorists who had recently infiltrated and escaped from the anti-terror operation in the Salindar forest area on Wednesday.

He was being searched.

According to the information received, the security forces received information about the presence of some terrorists in the Berar area of ​​Bandipora.

Perhaps he was on the verge of committing some crime.

On receiving information about their presence, the police, army, and CRPF personnel jointly started cordoning off the place where the terrorists were hiding.

Seeing the cordon of the security forces getting stronger, the hiding terrorists started firing in fury, and on seeing a fierce encounter broke out.

The security forces first gave a chance to the terrorists to come out but refused to accept this offer.

Two terrorists were killed in a fierce encounter in Bandipora: The terrorists kept firing by targeting the security forces, and after that, the security forces also started a fierce attack.

So far two terrorists have been killed. In view of the possibility of hiding more terrorists, the operation is still going on.

The security forces gave a befitting reply to the terrorists by removing the local people from the encounter site.

IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar said that Gulzar Ahmed Ganai, a local accomplice of terrorist Faisal and Abu Ukasa killed in Bandipora, was killed in an encounter in Salindar forest two days ago.

Gulzar had entered Kashmir with weapons from the POJK area only last month.

He returned to the valley with two Pakistani terrorists after taking terrorist training in Pakistan for about three and a half years.

Faisal was involved in the killing of three police personnel:

Faisal, along with another terrorist Haider, had killed three policemen at Gulshan Chowk and Nishat Park in Bandipore on December 10, 2021, and February 11, 2022.

Later both Faisal and Haider became active in South Kashmir and Srinagar-Budgam. Haider was killed in an encounter with security forces at Devsar in Kulgam on May 7.

Faisal made his base in Budgam. He tried to rebuild the network in Bandipore with Abu Ukash. Gulzar Ganai was also helping him in this.
