UAE Opens The First Embassy In Tel Aviv, Israel

UAE opens the first embassy in Tel Aviv, Israel, till now it was not the home of any Gulf country.

The melting ice in the relationship between the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Israel is now showing results. The UAE has opened the first embassy in Tel Aviv, Israel.

No country in the Gulf has had an embassy in Israel so far. Israeli President Isaac Herzog was also present at the opening ceremony of the embassy.

Despite Iran’s unease, US efforts last year led the UAE and Bahrain to normalize relations with Israel under the Abrahamic Agreement.

The then US President Donald Trump also contributed to Israel’s normalization of relations with Sudan and Morocco.

After Israel opened its embassy in the UAE a month ago, the embassy of the UAE has now been opened on the stock exchange of Tel Aviv.

UAE Ambassador Mohamed Al Khaza started it by unfurling his country’s flag on the building.

Israeli President Isaac said on the occasion that this day is a milestone for the relations between Israel and the UAE.

Till a year ago, hoisting the UAE flag in Israel was a dream, which is being fulfilled today.

Fire in the Covid-19 ward of Iraqi hospital, the death toll in the accident is 92, the concerned officer arrested

The death toll from a fire at a coronavirus hospital in Iraq has risen to 92.

Health officials said on Tuesday that doctors and officials working in the hospital are facing allegations of negligence from the grieving relatives of the deceased.

The fire broke out after an explosion in an oxygen tank.

According to officials, more than 100 people were injured in the fire that broke out in Nasiriya on Monday night.

Police and civil defense officials said the investigation revealed that the fire started when a spark from faulty wiring caused an explosion in the oxygen tank.

It was Iraq’s second such tragedy in three months and the country’s president on Tuesday blamed corruption for both.

The Prime Minister’s Office of the country has given a call for national mourning.
