UP DGP Will Call Special Details In The Cases Of Mafia

UP DGP will call special details in the cases under consideration of mafia: Uttar Pradesh Police. Police action in Uttar Pradesh will soon tighten its grip on the mafia and criminals under the Mission Shakti under the Mission Power.

UP DGP Hitesh Chandra Awasthi has summoned the details of the cases pending against the mafia in the courts. Instructions have also been given to take action against mafia and criminals at many points.

Police had earlier taken action under the campaign to break the economic empire of mafia and criminals. Now preparations are made to extend this campaign further.

Plans have been made to lobby against the mafia under a special campaign from the headquarters level in the cases under consideration in the court. Soon there will be an important meeting at the DGP headquarters.

Apart from this, the DGP has directed all the ADG zones, including other subordinate police officers, to collect further information against the identified mafia and their associates and to prepare the dossier by compiling gang charts and other details.

The Uttar Pradesh Police was also asked to continue the operation to seize assets collected from the black proceeds of crime under the Gangster Act.

The DGP has also directed to submit and revoke the arms license allotted to the mafia, their family, and gang members.

Now Anti Human Trafficking Police Station in every district: The government has decided to open the Anti Human Trafficking Police Station in every district for prevention of human trafficking.

Additional Chief Secretary Home Avnish Kumar Awasthi has issued its order. Till now these police stations were arranged in 35 districts of the state.

Now the Anti Human Trafficking Unit formed in the remaining 40 districts has been notified as a police station. Where new police stations will be opened soon.

It was told that the Union Government has approved the budget for the establishment of new police stations.
