Uproar in Vidhansabha over the implementation of five guarantees.

On the second day of the session, there was a fierce ruckus between BJP MLAs and Congress MLAs in the House.

In fact, the BJP cornered Congress over the issue of the implementation of five guarantees of the government in the state.

After this, a very heated atmosphere was witnessed in the Karnataka Legislative Assembly.

House adjourned for a while.

During this, the speaker tried hard to pacify the MLAs of both parties. In the end, Speaker UT Khadar was forced to adjourn the House for a while.

When the Speaker asked MLA Shivalinge Gowda to ask a question during Question Hour, BJP leaders Basavaraj Bommai, R Ashok and Ashwathnarayan, and others stood up.

They asked the speaker suspended question time and asked them to discuss the protections announced by Congress that called for the time.

The speaker appealed.

The speaker repeatedly appealed to the opposition BJP to allow the Question Hour to continue but to no avail.

Deputy Minister DK Shivakumar lashed out at the BJP, saying they cannot tolerate the success of the Year of Guarantee.

Shivakumar said, “Let the question hour happen. Then we will listen to what they (BJP) have to say.”

BJP MLA adamant on his demand.

The BJP MLA, however, remained adamant on his stand about the failure in implementation of the five promises.

Shivakumar wanted to know whether the BJP has ever fulfilled its promise of depositing Rs 15 lakh in everyone’s bank account and bringing back black money stashed abroad.

“We keep our promises and we will deliver on them,” he said. In his address, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah also appealed to the BJP to give up its obstinate attitude.
