Vaccine Will Be Given To All People Above 18 Years From May 1

Vaccine will be given to all people above 18 years from May 1 in the third phase of the vaccination: PM Modi’s big announcement.

The central government is going to start the third phase of corona vaccination amidst the corona epidemic spreading in the country. According to the government, the third phase of vaccination will start from May 1.

In this, people of all ages above 18 years will be vaccinated with Corona. In a meeting with doctors today, PM Modi said that for the last year, the government is trying its best to give vaccine doses to as many people as possible in the country.

Therefore, the government is announcing that now all people above 18 years of age should be given the Corona vaccine from May 1.

In a meeting with doctors today, PM Modi said that the government has been working hard for a year to ensure that the maximum number of people in the country can get the vaccine in the shortest possible time.

States will be able to buy vaccines directly from companies.

PM Modi said that in the third phase of the vaccination campaign, the eligibility for purchase and vaccination of vaccines is being relaxed. States will also be allowed to purchase and distribute vaccines.

Vaccine manufacturers will be able to give 50 percent of the vaccine to the states. States will be able to purchase vaccines directly from companies.

Vaccination started in the country on January 16.

Please tell that the corona vaccination was started in the country on 16 January. So far, more than twelve crore people in the country have been vaccinated with the corona vaccine.

Until now, the government had only allowed vaccination for frontline workers and those above 45. Significantly, more than 120 million vaccines have been vaccinated in India against the Coronavirus vaccination campaign so far.

India has the fastest rate of vaccination compared to other countries. It took the United States 97 and China 108 days to apply 120 million vaccines, while India achieved this position in just 92 days.

Till Sunday, a total of 12 crores 26 lakh 22 thousand 590 vaccines have been administered to the beneficiaries in 18,15,325 sessions. Out of these, more than 1.5 crore people have been given both doses of vaccine.
