Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will virtually address the US Parliament on Wednesday. Even before this, he had appealed to US lawmakers to stand against Russia along with help.

Meanwhile, US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer gave this information in a statement on Monday and said, “Congress, our country, and the world respect the people of Ukraine.”

He further said that all lawmakers have been invited to address the US Capitol via video.

Recently, the US Parliament has approved 13.6 billion dollars in emergency military and humanitarian assistance for Ukraine.

“We look forward to welcoming President Zelensky’s address to the House and Senate and extending our support to the people of Ukraine as they bravely defend democracy,” US lawmakers said.

Zelensky spoke by video with lawmakers in the House and Senate earlier this month and requested more military aid.
