Three people were killed in Hooghly and North 24 Paraganas areas because of electric shock, they said.

A lady and her seven-year-old child were killed in the Official Park zone of Kolkata after a tree fell on them, the authorities said.

They said an individual was killed in Kolkata in the wake of being hit by a flying article during the tempest.

Senior state authorities said it was too soon to evaluate a cost forever or harm to property as the hardest-hit regions were as yet not available.
