Xiaomi Mobile Phone & SmartTV Price Hike In India, Buying all Xiaomi smartphones and smart TVs will be expensive from today, prices increased.

Xiaomi Mobile Phone & SmartTV Price Hike in India: Xiaomi has announced a 3 to 6 percent increase in the price of all its smartphones and smart TVs.

The increased prices of smartphones and smart TVs are applicable across the country from July 1, 2021. Meaning from today it will become expensive to buy Xiaomi branded smartphones and TVs.

Actually, Xiaomi has increased the price of its smart TVs and smartphones by up to 3-6 percent.

Meaning if you buy a Xiaomi smartphone or smart TV in the range of Rs 30,000, then you will have to pay around Rs 2,000 more.

The reason for the price increase.

According to Xiaomi, the company was facing a component shortage. Along with this, high shipping charges and supply chain problems were also being faced.

The same demand-supply mismatch has led to an increase in the cost of parts (chipset, display panel, display driver, back panel, and battery) used in the manufacturing of smartphones and smart TVs.

Due to all these problems, the company has had to increase the prices of smartphones and smart TVs.

Other companies may increase prices.

A Xiaomi spokesperson said that from July 1, the price of smart TVs is increasing by about 3 to 6 percent. Similarly, the prices of smartphones have increased.

According to the report, due to the increase in the price of TV panels in the global market, soon other smart TV makers can announce a 3 to 4 percent increase in the price.

Prices have increased in April.

Earlier in the month of April, the price of smart TVs and smartphones has increased, at that time the reason for the increase in the price was attributed to the operating cost.

In this, there was talk of increasing the freight and domestic transportation charges from sea vessels.

India is a big market for smart TVs, with 17 million TVs sold, with an estimated turnover of 25,000 crores.
