A young man was caught with a satellite phone on Wednesday at Amausi Airport in the capital Lucknow. CISF security personnel present on the spot handed him over to Sarojininagar police.

The police arrested the passenger by taking the recovered satellite phone into custody.

At present, IB and other security agencies are interrogating the police by registering a case against the accused youth.

Youth caught with banned satellite phone: The accused has been identified as Kuldeep Vrindavan, a resident of Kheda-Daudiya in the Unnao district.

According to Inspector-in-Charge Sarojininagar Santosh Arya, the arrested youth is Kuldeep Vrindavan of Barasagawar Dulikheda of Unnao.

According to the information, he works in Sheikh’s house in Dubai.

In the investigation conducted before catching the flight to Mumbai, a satellite phone was found in his bag, which is banned in India. Kuldeep had to go from Mumbai to Dubai.

During interrogation, Kuldeep told that his owner had stopped using a bag, which he brought while coming to India.

The satellite phone belongs to its owner, which was accidentally left in the bag. IB and other security agencies are collecting the name, address, and other information of its owner.

After registering a report, the police have taken possession of the recovered satellite phone. Police are interrogating him.

Police say that the passenger Kuldeep was trying to go from Lucknow to Dubai via Mumbai. He had to reach Mumbai and catch a flight to Dubai.
