Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has decided to provide huge government assistance for the treatment of a girl suffering from a rare genetic disease in the state.

The Reddy government has approved a number of one crore rupees for the treatment of a two-and-a-half-year-old girl suffering from a rare genetic disease like Gaucher disease.

According to the report published in the Indian Express, for the treatment of the girl child (Honey), on behalf of Dr. BR Ambedkar Konaseema district Collector Himanshu Shukla, her parents were also given 13 injections on Sunday.

The cost of each injection is Rs 1.25 lakh. It is said that a total of 52 injections are needed for the treatment, which are given once every 15 days.

Not only this, but the government led by YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will also provide an amount of Rs 10,000 every month to the parents of the girl child for her better care and care.

In fact, Chief Minister Reddy was visiting the flood-affected areas of the district. During that time, a child suffering from a genetic disease met Honey and her parents.

During this, he promised to help the treatment of the victim girl and provide financial assistance for better management of her education.

According to the information, Honey, the daughter of Koppudi Rambabu and Nagalakshmi, is suffering from this disease since birth.

District Collector Himanshu Shukla says that Gaucher’s disease is a rare genetic disorder. A total of 14 people are suffering from this disease across the country.

Collector Shukla further said that the Primary Health Center at Amalapuram would be the first government center in the country to treat this rare genetic disease called Gauchar.
