5 CRPF Jawans Injured In IED Blast In Tonto Of Chaibasa, Jharkhand

 5 CRPF jawans were injured in IED blast in Tonto of Chaibasa, Jharkhand, jawans were airlifted and sent to Ranchi.

During the ongoing operation against Naxalites in the Tonto area of West Singhbhum district, 5 CRPF jawans are reported injured in an IED blast.

All the injured are being brought to Ranchi. The process of setting up a new CRPF camp at Tumba Haka in Tonton was going on. In this sequence, a team of CRPF and District Police was going to Tumba Haka.

Naxalites blasted 2 total 3 landmines on the way, one in Ichahatu and one in Boypai rule. Bullets had been additionally fired after the explosion.

The retaliatory firing was also done from the CRPF side. Misir Besra’s squad of CPI Maoists is said to be responsible for this. Five soldiers of Cobra Battalion 209 are said to be injured in the incident.

The injured have been airlifted from CRPF’s Rengad Hatu camp and sent to Ranchi.

According to sources, the names of the injured soldiers are Ajay Linda, Shahrukh Khan Bharat Singh, Mukesh Singh, and Alok Das.

Four hundred jawans entered the forests of Tonto to capture Naxalites Misir Besra and Anal with a prize of one crore, the task is to discover them.

In this sequence, on Sunday, 12 IEDs of five kg planted with the aim of targeting the security forces were recovered in the Kochabandha forest of Rengdahatu of the Tonto police station area.

All were destroyed on the spot with the help of a bomb disposal squad.
