Malappuram: A teenaged Kerala girl studying in class ninth supposedly ended it all by setting herself on fire as she couldn’t go to the online classes being directed by her school. Devika, a fourteen years old student of Government Higher Optional School in Irimbiliyam in Malappuram, was discovered dead in a vacant house close to her habitation.
Balakrishnan and Sheeba, her parents, claimed that Devika was discouraged as the family didn’t have a TV or cell phone which she could use to go to online classes. The young lady had been absent since Monday evening and at night her scorched body was found close to the house. An unfilled vessel of lamp fuel was likewise found close to the body. Police couldn’t discover anything dubious subsequent to leading the essential request.
