Accused arrested for raising slogan of Pakistan Zindabad, police engaged in investigation. Anwar Syed Faizullah Hashmi, a resident of Imperial Garden Society, Sector-102, Gurugram.
He is accused of raising the slogan of Pakistan Zindabad from his five-year-old son was arrested on Saturday morning by the Dhankot police outpost of Rajendra Park police station.
He was produced in the court after a few hours, from where he was sent to Bhondsi jail in judicial custody. With this, further investigation of the matter has been intensified.
Slogans of Pakistan Zindabad were raised on August 25
Last month on August 25, a video of slogans of ‘Hindustan Murdabad, Pakistan Zindabad’ had gone viral.
Regarding this, the people of the society had reached Anwar Syed Faizullah Hashmi’s flat on the night of 28 August to raise objections. A day before that, the accused had gone to Mumbai.
The information about the arrival of other people of the society in the flat of the accused reached the Dhankot police post regarding the viral video.
On this, Dhankot police outpost in-charge Sub Inspector Lal Singh asked both the parties to give their complaint.
The wife said that the allegations against the husband are wrong.
Dr. Roshina Naseer, the wife of the accused and professor in JNU, had given a complaint about creating a ruckus, making false allegations.
On the other hand, the manager of the society had given a complaint against the woman’s husband for raising slogans of Pakistan Zindabad by his son.
After investigation, on August 31, a case was registered against Anwar Syed Faizullah Hashmi for getting Pakistan Zindabad slogans against the country from his son.
Along with giving the complaint, Hindu organizations also demonstrated against the registration of the case.
On arrival called for questioning.
Along with registering the case, a notice was issued to the accused to present his case, but he remained in Mumbai for several days.
It is said that on reaching from Mumbai on Friday night, the Dhankot police outpost in-charge Lal Singh called him for questioning.
He reached the post on Saturday morning. After interrogation, he was arrested.
In this regard, Assistant Commissioner of Police of the area, Rajiv Yadav says that the viral video will be sent to the forensic lab for investigation. The investigation will reveal the whole truth.
After the arrest of the accused, further action has been expedited. Why he did this is being investigated closely.
