Administration ready to welcome devotees, first batch will leave on 29: Amarnath Yatra 2022.
The first batch of pilgrims from Jammu will leave for Pahalgam and Baltal on June 29 for Baba Amarnath Yatra.
Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has said in the Awam Ki Awaaz program that adequate arrangements have been made for the Amarnath Yatra.
The administration and the people of Jammu and Kashmir are fully prepared to welcome the devotees coming from the country and abroad.
Keeping in mind a large number of devotees, this time adequate arrangements have been made on a large scale.
Amarnath Yatra is starting on June 30, which will be of 43 days. It will conclude on August 11, the day of Raksha Bandhan. The arrangements for the visit are being finalized.
The repair work of both the Yatra Baltal and Pahalgam routes is in the final stage. All the arrangements related to the yatra will be completed in two-three days.
Arrangements have been made for the pilgrims to stay at Bhagwati Nagar in Jammu, Chandrakot in Ramban district, and Pantha Chowk in Srinagar.
Preparations are also going on at base camp Pahalgam and Baltal. Camp directors have already been appointed.
The officials of the Shri Amarnath Shrine Board and district administration are regularly taking stock of the preparations.
Shrine Board has floated tenders for the cleanliness of toilets and bathrooms in Baltal and Pahalgam. Tenders have also been floated for starting and maintaining STP in Baltal base camp.
The board has asked to submit the tender by June 22 for this. Preparations are being taken to make arrangements for cleanliness on the Yatra route.
The state government will provide free bus facilities to the sadhus: The process of sadhus reaching Jammu to join the Amarnath Yatra has started increasing.
These sadhus are being accommodated in the Ram Mandir and Geeta Bhawan of the city. So far more than a hundred sadhus have reached the Ram temple.
Arrangements have been made for their stay and food here. Women monks have also arrived. Two dozen sadhus have also reached the Gita Mandir.
The temple is resonant with Bhajan Kirtan. The presence of sadhus has started appearing in the markets, squares, and squares of the city.
Administration ready to welcome devotees: Free buses are arranged by the government for the sadhus coming on the Amarnath Yatra.
They will have to show the identity card of their akhara or the religious institution they are associated with to get this facility.
A help center has been set up in the Ram temple for bus facilities to the sadhus.

Registration of sadhus in the temple from June 28:
Mahant Rameshwar Das of Shri Ram Mandir said that the registration of sadhus for the Amarnath Yatra will start on June 28 at the registration center set up in the Ram temple.
The sadhus have been asked to fill out the form and submit the required documents. The government has facilitated the registration of sadhus in the Ram temple.
Activism regarding corona investigation: With the arrival of sadhus for the Amarnath Yatra, the administration has become alert about corona infection.
Teams of health workers have been sent from place to place to conduct corona tests. There is a special eye on the sadhus coming from other states.
