After Corona, India is very different now than before, also spoke on the tension between India and China: S Jaishankar’s statement.

The Foreign Minister of the country, Dr. S. Jaishankar, has said that after Corona, India is very different now. Speaking in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, Jaishankar said that India is very different from before after the corona epidemic.

He said that health, wellbeing have become important for us today and that is why the government has given such a big priority to the health and wellbeing sector in the budget.

S. Jaishankar also talked about the economy here. Jaishankar said that we hope that we will achieve double-digit economic growth of more than 11% in the coming year.

He further said that for us the issue is between corona recovery and economic recovery, what should be the future direction. This time, it was clearly indicated by the budget.

Foreign Minister also spoke on India-China tension

In Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, External Affairs Minister Jaishankar also spoke about the ongoing tension between India and China.

He said that Indian military commanders held nine rounds of talks with their Chinese counterparts during the last year and these will continue in the future.

China disturbed the peace in the area: Center.

Earlier on 4 February, the central government said in the Rajya Sabha that the Chinese army had disturbed peace in the region by trying to unilaterally change the eastward position on the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in eastern Ladakh.

The Indian armed forces have responded to these efforts and made it clear to the Chinese side that such unilateral efforts will not be accepted at all.

Speaking on behalf of the government in the Rajya Sabha, Minister of State for External Affairs V. Muralitharan said that China has tried to unilaterally change the status quo on LAC.

The Indian armed forces responded to this audacity. India made China clear – such a one-sided effort is not acceptable at all. Addressing reporters in Vijayawada, he said that no decision has been taken in negotiations on the ground.

The Foreign Minister further said that after the events of last year, we have deployed a large number of soldiers who have come to face the challenge which has come from the crowd of Chinese soldiers there.
