Admiral M Amjad Khan Niazi told the Chinese government newspaper Global Times that the Pakistani Navy is acquiring new weapons in place of its existing old weapons as part of the modernization campaign.

F-22P warships will be equipped with missiles and helicopters in view of the naval partnership between the two countries.

The Pakistan Navy has tied up with China to acquire eight Hangor class submarines, four Type 054 A / P ships, medium-class unmanned vehicles.
